Don’t you hate it when you message someone on AIM and they do not respond within a respectable minute? Well apparently, it is the cool thing now to leave your aim on over night, or even several days without posting an away message. I don’t know about many of you, but i see this is as a pet peeve when someone sits on aim, and after a while, i see this person as an unreliable person to talk to.
On the other hand, when they initiate conversation, it appears that it feels a spur of the moment, in that that conversation is going to be a once in a lifetime conversation! Even when you look at most people’s buddy info or status, it says their online time to be only a few hours, while those few special people have the title of “3d 12h 46m” and I wonder why they sit on aim for so long without logging off! Can’t you guys just put an away message!
