ATTENTION FACEBOOK MEMBERS! Just because Facebook looks cleaner than MySpace, doesn’t mean you’re out of the wood works from viruses.
According to Reuters, a new virus called “Koobface” is making rounds through Facebook. What it does is it sends a private message from a friend of yours into your Facebook account. The subject line could be something friendly like, “You look just awesome in this new movie”. Once opened, you’ll see a link to a random webpage. After going to that link, a dialog window will show up and ask you to install the latest “Adobe Flash Player.” Don’t fall for it. THAT’S actually the virus right there.
So, please be careful with those suspicious links and stay out there!

I got hit by that, luckily I’m neither stupid enough to install anything except from the authors site, nor do I use windows. But it did screw up my Facebook for a bit, and sent itself on from my account.
