Finally… after ordering the Storm a day after it has been released, I received my phone!!! It’s about time i got myself an upgrade from my crappy Moto Q. That thing was a turd. Since I have Verizon though, the G1 was out of the question, and that REALLY cool Nokia phone the Sam posted up isn’t out yet, and my DREAM phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is not released in the states yet… But hopefully, once I get back home from work… I’ll be able to play around with it, and maybe do a short initial review on how I feel about it. I admit, once I ordered it, I felt a lil rushed, and felt that I may not be happy with the decision and may have to return it. Partly also because when I played with the demo… the OS on the phone was REDICULOUSLY laggy. But after doing more research on crackberry.com, I started to feel more content with the purchase. Especially with the upgrade that pretty much gets rid of the laggyness in the OS. I now leave with you with my box opening ceremony pictures =P

I hope it turns out to be awesome Charles, I must admit I couldn’t get past the clicking screen in my plays with it in the shop. I think for someone who doesn’t type fast it will give a fantastic amount of feedback to your virtual typing but for me coming from an iPhone, having to actually click the screen down and wait for it to recoil before hitting the next key really slowed me down. Made my typing particularly laborious. Still I think it’s still a very solid device with enormous potential, but for me it’s no iPhone killer. I’d be excited to see a full review though mind. I don’t know anyone else who’s got one since launch.
