After just 1 week of arena, it has become evident to many people that Death Knights are simply too overpowered for arena.  With anti-magic abilities, death grip, insane damage output, life leeching, plate armor, AND the ability to come back to life after death, what can a normal team possibly do?

This might be my lowest arena rating ever after 1 week =( We did end up playing so I could get more points and I ended with a record of 10-10.

I started the season with my 3v3 team as RMP, with this being my first official week of pvping as a mage.  There were an insane number of burst dps teams, with a majority of them consisting of DK, ret pally + resto shaman.  It was a pain having to regear up and especially with Blizzard deciding to price the offpieces (belt, bracer, boots, neck, ring, back) at such high prices, the game has become an even harder pvp grind than before.

On my warrior, I tried out 2v2 with a shaman and the results were much better than my mage.  I do think we played a lot of noobs but we were at least able to pull off a favorable record.  Even my rogue/mage friends were able to pull out an alright record, though I did notice way less DK’s and ret pallies in that bracket – probably due to the fact that they were already a higher rating than us :X

Overall, I’m fairly disappointed with my performance this past week with my mage and feel somewhat decent on my warrior.  The biggest difference at this point between the 2 is probably my experience and the gear difference I have as a warrior vs my nubness at mage.  The honor grind is going to be a pain.
