Here are some quick thoughts about today’s Apple Keynote.

iLife ‘09

• The finally put back a feature they took out from iMovie.  The video playback speed. Now we can finally do time lapse and slo-mo films.
• Geo-tagging, Flickr, and Facebook integration in iPhoto is neat. Now users can tag where they took the picture, as well as post them in their Flickr or Facebook accounts.  Also, for Facebook, you can tag your friends. (HAH! More Facebook love. SCREW MYSPACE!)

iWork ‘09

• iPhone Keynote app looks slick. With an iPhone app from Apple, you can control your Keynote presentations remotely.
• I didn’t pay much attention to anything else here because I’m a fan of free stuff. Like OpenOffice =)

New 17″ Macbook Pro

• Integrated battery?! Wait, so you can’t buy an extra battery to swap it out? Fail, I say. FAIL.

iTunes Music Store

• Now we can download music through 3G onto our iPhones. SWEET.
• DRM-Free music!* FINALLY!
  *with a 30 cent per song upgrade fee.

No new Mac Mini

• This was the rumor I was really waiting for. But, it didn’t happen. Instead, they came out with the new iTony Bennet.

Not the best keynote ever, but, you can’t win them all.
