What do you get when you mix liquid nitrogen, liquid helium and a brand spanking new AMD Phenom II X4? Well a team of speed freaks set out to find out just after CES. The answer, a ludicrus 45,474 3DMark05 score at a clock rate of 6.5GHz. A solid temperature of -232C was required, that’s 41C off absolute zero, meaning this isn’t for the faint hearted, but it does bode well for those who fancy a bit of overclocking.
