Ever wondered what happens when a bird hits a jet engine? Well wonder no more and feast your eyes on the super-slo-mo video of exactly what happens when a bird gets chewed through an engine. Similar to the beginning of Lost but less dramatic. Bird strikes as they’re known are a real problem but jet engines are designed with that in mind and can swallow quite a few of our feathery friends before succumbing and shutting down.
