Well well well…what do we have here? Warlock buffs! I welcome 3.1!!!

This build is a little different. Not getting Master Summoner can be risky, but with fel synergy, your pet shouldn’t be worried. I didn’t get everlasting affliction because it brought very little to the table…I’d rather just reapply corruption on my target than trying to force a haunt or shadow bolt. Going down destruction gives 5% more crit chance which will benefit all your spells and especially pandemic. With molten skin for 6% damage reduction coupled with the new Glyph of Soul Link? Man that’s a beastly 11% damage reduction. So SL 20% + 10~15% from armor then another 11%? You can have up to 46% against physical, and 31% against magic. Remember if you are getting trained by melee to switch out to demon skin instead of fel armor so that your heal intake is greater and you soften the effect of Ms/Wound poison.

Something like this should suffice…(if you plan to raid as affliction lock). 1 point into fel synergy so that you can send in your pet and it’ll be healed half the time so it’s not that bad.

Fel Synergy now gives you a 50/100% chance to heal your pet for 50/30% of the amount of spell damage done by you. (Old – All damage)

DAAANG! Talk about letting our pets survive, if you are tab dotting and throwing out instant bolts, your pet is not going down anytime soon. Especially when its healing for 30% of your damage. Awesome buff

Pandemic now Grants the periodic damage from your Corruption and Unstable Affliction spells the ability to critically hit for 100% increased damage.

Lowered from 3 points to 1 point! WOW! Finally the affliction tree was so bloated…although I wish they included curse of agony in the ‘able to crit’ category…after all CoA is considered to be in the affliction tree…perhaps in the future they will change it.

Malediction now Increases your spell damage by 1/2/3%, and increases the periodic critical strike chance of your Corruption and Unstable Affliction spells by 3/6/9%.

Talk about nice buff. No one use to get this unless you were the raid warlock that was responsible for putting on that CoElements debuff.

Siphon Life changed to – When you deal damage with your Corruption spell, you are instantly healed for 40% of the damage done. In addition, the damage done by your Corruption, Seed of Corruption and Unstable Affliction damage over time effects is increased by 5%.

Pros and Con. The pro? One less thing to cast and it heals more (I think so). Con? The damage is taken out from siphon life. I think they should have at least increased corruptions damage by 10% if they took out the damage on siphon life.

Immolation and Unstable Affliction are now in the same exclusive category (both damage over time effects cannot be present at the same time by the same caster on a target).

Dang…when I had a lot of time to kill someone I would usually throw up an immolation up as well…I guess we cant keep immolation and UA up on the same target =/
