Save Chuck, the best thing on TV

Save Chuck, the best thing on TV

Chuck is a show about the most unlikely hero. He’s a geek who works at Buy More in the Nerd Herd by day and a Intelligence ‘asset’ buy night. Supported by both the CIA and the military Chuck is an awkward unstoppable force for Geeks everywhere. What can only be described as the ultimate Geek show including a hero that we all would like to be, a girl who we’d all like to be with and an awesome story that we’d all like to feature in, Chuck is one of the best shows on TV. Critically acclaimed and funny yet smart to boot, Chuck is on the chopping board right now, up for the limited Monday night spot with some stiff competition. Having never gained high ratings, but with a passionate and hopefully vocal group of followers Chuck needs your support to survive. So I propose that everyone who likes the show (if you’re a Geek and you read this site why wouldn’t you?!) post on twitter, blogs, any form of communication, voicing your support, save Chuck from the NBC chopping block and give it a chance at another season. It really is the best thing on TV right now and it needs our help!

Retweet this on Twitter if you’re a fan and want to save the show: @SamuelGibbs SAVE CHUCK! Come on it’s an awesome show. If you think so too RT this to show our support. Prove Twitter can save #Chuck!

And head on over to YouChoose.net and sign the Save Chuck petition

For other Save Chuck action check out Alan Sepinwall’s open letter to NBC, Wired’s Matt Blum, and TV.com.

And for the pièce de résistance check out the Chucktv.net Save Chuck Campaign and most importantly Spread the Word, Chuck is awesome and as a Geek it needs your help to survive for a 3rd season.

Keep Chuck on the air! It is one of the funnist shows on T.V. As a Gen Xer I
enjoy the homage the show has for the 80’s. The executives at NBC will be kicking themselves if they get rid of this great show.

AN ALTERNATE IDEA IF NBC DECIDES NOT TO RENEW CHUCK …. ASK SUBWAY TO BUY THE
3rd SEASON AND HAVE IT AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM THEIR WEBSITE, COMPLETE
WITH SUBWAY COMMERCIALS … HERE IS THE LETTER THAT I WROTE:

    Bill Schettini
    Subway – Chief Marketing Officer
    325 Bic Drive
    Milford, CT 06461

PLEASE PASS ON TO THE CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER!!!

Subway has done well with product placement and its sponsorship of the current NBC series Chuck. There is a good size, devoted fan base who have shown their loyalty to the Subway brand for its’ dedication to this show with increased purchases and a “Save Chuck” campaign that involved the
purchase of Subway product, kicked off by series star Zachari Levy himself.

If NBC isn’t smart enough to keep this series, I believe it would be a wise investment for Subway to order at least a partial 3rd season of full episodes to be made available, complete with exclusive Subway commercials and promotions, on your website at: http://www.subway.com/chuck

This is a unique opportunity for Subway to make their website a “must see” content portal for its’ core demographic, and the Good Will that this would engender simply cannot be purchased through normal advertising mediums.

As well, the cover place where the character Sarah works, the frozen yogurt shop, could easily be changed to a Subway store instead, as it changed between Season 1 and 2 from a Weiner Hut.

Last, the devoted fan base would respond positively to a partnership between Subway and the principal Actors in the series (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin) to promote Chuck Season 3 and Subway on the Subway website.

    Thank you for your time.

PLEASE WRITE ONE YOURSELF, IF YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA!!!
Please remember to be respectful and positive.
    Cheers,
    Hugh

I pre-ordered season 2, emailed and snail mailed. I sure hope they renew Chuck. I guess the announcement date is May 19th. Wonderful show!
