Day 4 of Valve’s Team Fortress 2 Sniper Update is upon us, and it seems as though the Sniper has been given the shaft in favor of the Spy. Sneaky, Valve. Very sneaky indeed.

Taking center stage for day 4, the Spy has been given a few new, useful items to aid in his sneaky, backstabbing endeavors. First off, we have the Dead Ringer Spy Watch, which, when in use, creates a facsimile of a dying Spy after receiving a non-lethal hit in order to trick players into thinking they killed the Spy, giving him an opportunity to strike back.
And, if that wasn’t enough, Valve has outfitted the Spy with another watch as well: the Cloak and Dagger Spy Watch. As a supplement to the Spy’s cloaking device, the watch serves to indefinitely prolong the use of the cloaking device. However, there is a catch. The watch will only regenerate the device’s power as long as the Spy is standing still.

Well, that’s it for the Sniper (Spy?) Update. Will the Spy receive his own update eventually or is this mixed update all Valve has in store for the backstabbing little bastard? Who knows. We’ll keep you posted once we know something.
