Ready for E3...but still quite hungry.
Being a college student, a gamer, and a blogger is not an easy thing, especially on the financial side. And with E3 being this week, it’s a bad time to be low on cash. But it’s much worse than that. I’m fucking BROKE…and I mean badly. This is not a joke, I have absolutely no money. In fact, my back account overdrafted. So E3 is not shaping up to be a bit of a struggle at the moment. However, I’m managing…thankfully.
Monday, June 1st – 1 Day Before E3 Officially Kicks Off:
6AM – I make myself a big breakfast, exhausting the majority of my remaining food supplies (mainly eggs, bacon and bread)
8AM – I arrive at the Ashby BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Station to meet with Jamie and head to San Francisco International Airport. Have to buy a $5.80 BART ticket. Use my debit card, which means a $33 overdraft fee. FUCK!
9:30 AM – At the airport with Jamie. I’m exhausted and have my eyes set on a coffee shop. Look over at Jamie for a handout. She denies my request. :(
11 AM – On the plane, feasting on 4 bags of peanuts, 2 bags of pretzels, and 3 cups of Coke. Score!
12 PM – Nelson picks us up from the airport. I’m kinda hungry. Have my eyes set on the snacks he has in the trunk as we head to our hotel.
1PM – Settling in at the hotel. Jamie’s eating a salad. I steal half of it when she’s not looking. :D
3PM – We head over to the LA Theater for the Ubisoft Press Conference. Start getting hungry again.
4PM – Check in starts for the Conference. We wait in line for the Conference to start. Snag a few free water bottles before heading in.
7PM – Head back to the hotel after Ubisoft. Snag a few of Nelson’s snacks. Nelson feels bad and takes pity on me, offering to take me to dinner. Score.
So that was pretty much my whole day. E3 officially kicked off today at noon and surviving Monday was somewhat manageable. Unfortunately, got off to a bad start, food-wise at least, but I think I can manage.
i will feed u…btw u look like ur sitting on an imaginary toilet
