The old Transformers movie was hella 80s but so fucking awesome. Surprisingly, I actually did enjoy the movie. The plot, which people seemed to hate, didn't bother me at all.

Hated Skids and Mudflap a lot though. They annoyed me to no end.

Given that it was a Michael Bay film, I didn't expect it to be great so maybe that's why I enjoyed it. But whatever, I liked it.

Hahah! Great write up, Jamie. I've been a fan of Transformers since the original cartoons. My sister owns the original movie on VHS and on DVD. But, as with every Michael Bay film, you're not supposed to be looking for a plot, good acting, or great writing. You're supposed to be looking for explosions, ILM's awesome CG, and Megan's rockin' tits. I've had my ticket bought since last week. Gonna watch it tonight on IMAX.
