Pocket WA

Wolfra Alpha brings it’s computational brains to the iPhone. An iPhone optimized landing page available at wolframalpha.com/iphone allows you to use most of WA’s main features including the computational engine. This means that the answer to how much vitamin C is in a cubic light year of strawberrys is always at your finger tips (6.3×10^53 % of your RDA if you didn’t know).

The only problem I forsee at the moment is that the answers aren’t currently ideally formatted for the small screen, but I’m assuming that has to be in the works to complement the start page. There are also thoughts towards an iPhone native app for processing the queries and Wolfram Alpha is currently looking for feedback as to whether it would be popular.

Wolfram Alpha needs to develop page formatting better. It gets worse as one navigates around.
