Next-gen LG Chocolate stretched and leaked

YouTube Preview Image

So there’s been a few rumours floating about the tubes this weekend about a ultra-wide screened next-gen LG chocolate. Well looks like the rumours were true as a leaked promotional video of the LG has hit YouTube.

The BL40 is preliminarily spec’d with a 4-inch, 800×344 (21:9), multitouch screen with LG’s Active Flash UI. On board it’ll also house Wi-Fi, 7.2mbps HSDPA, A-GPS, a 5mp camera with flash plus the usual onscreen keyboard, browser, Google Maps app, card-based contact system, scheduler and email applications for your on-the-go connected lifestyle. It looks impressive, but without running something like Android, it’s use as a smartphone is severely hampered. LG make great feature-phones but what that screen is crying out for is a serious OS on there.
