I think my friend, hal0gical, said it best when he tweeted:

finds that the advertising that sells him most usually has absolutely nothing to do w. the actual product

Now, thinking back to commercials that stayed in my head through the years, it made sense.  Then I saw the viral video from Fruit Gushers fruit snacks.  Many viral videos like this, the Quiznos “rats”, the Taco Bell dog, and the Bontrust ad have stayed in my mind and had nothing really to do with the actual product being sold.

But, it’s always awesome to see videos like this because it makes me wonder.  How much weed was being passed around the conference room of the ad agency that did this?
