Yes, the title is correct. Philip are launching a frankenstein of a mouse which will basically cover all the mousing scenarios you can think of. First up it’s a bluetooth mouse, but the problem with BT mice is that they run out of juice, so when that happens just plug in the USB and it’ll operate as a wired mouse. Ok that’s not that revolutionary I admit, but what about this? Philips has done away with a scroll wheel/ball and have gone straight for an integrated touch pad. They call it the 360° TouchControl sensor, but it’s simply a small touch pad mounted on top of the mouse. So whatever your scenario, including presenting using the touch pad in thin air, this mouse should see you true. It’s not even that bad looking. Should that tickle your fancy, you’ll be available to pick up a Bluetooth notebook mouse SPM9800 across Europe for the princely sum of $80 odd soon.
