EA made an appearance at the London Expo with Valve’s upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 , complete with zombies and the EA Vault. On show was an exclusive look at one of the new co-op levels, which we got a very brief hands on with.
The follow up to the critically acclaimed smash hit Left 4 Dead, L4D2 is already one of the most anticipated games of the year. It’s had it’s complainers, mostly about the time of release too soon after L4D and that it should be an expansion of the original, not a separate title. Despite these critcisms, fans of the game turned up in their droves to the EA Vault,with the queue for the hands on at one time stretching across the entire exhibition hall.
Having had a little time with the game, all we can say is that it’s more of the same excellent action that L4D provides just bigger. Helpful I know, but rest assured that if you’re a fan of L4D then L4D2 won’t disappoint. Mind you, whether it’s more than an expansion to the original has yet to be proven. Certainly one to watch and it will no doubt be a big success, but whether it eclipses the original L4D remains to be seen.

They were there for EA and were doing the whole zombie routine including attacking random people. They were on a chain leash, so every time they got a bit rowdy the EA Vault person would rein them in. Was great fun to watch.
