I can’t post comments.

I registered for the site in hopes that the spam filter you guys run would chill the eff out. Turns out such is not the case.

I still can’t post comments even when logged in. But I can submit articles, so… Woo?

Seriously. What the poop? Why is this spam filter so bad? D:

hmm. I’ll disable the Spam Plugin for now and see how the site does without it on.

  2. Raul Valle says:

Wow…this is the first time I’ve heard someone say that they can’t post comments.

  3. Colin says:

    Haha weird frontpage article.

    • Nelson says:

It’s not front page. It’s an article a fellow GK! has posted in our new “Unfiltered” section. Why not register yourself and start posting as well! =D

  4. Nelson says:

oh duh. I just now realized why you can’t post comments. your NAME! your name has the “S” word in it. change it.

    Maybe it’s my email address…?

I can’t just change my name. It’s my name, man. I even registered the domain.

Obviously I haven’t figured out what to do with it yet. :P

Also, I don’t see my post or comments in my WP dashboard. Are you guys using some kind of role plugin?

  7. kylegetsspam says:

Well, I just said “also” because I thought my other comment was being held for moderation but this latest one posted immediately, so… Maybe not?!

Apparently the spam filter hates that I have “spam” in my email address BEFORE the domain name. I changed it to one with “spam” IN the domain name and it’s totally cool with that. Heh.

I can’t change my name because, well, it’s my name, yo. I even bought the domain: http://kylegetsspam.com/

Clearly I haven’t figured out what to do with it yet. :P
