Make any surface a touch screen – Light Blue Optics

This is one of the new technologies that will be unveiled at CES that I’m really, really excited about. Light Blue Optics has created a pico projector (a very very small projector) with the ability to track multiple fingers.  What this means is that any surface you can project on will become a multi-touch surface. There are so many applications for this type of product that it boggles my mind.

This Pico Project runs on a Windows CE OS and uses Adobe Flash Lite.  It has 2GB flash memory onboard with a Micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB. It also has WiFi b/g.

So yea, this could be the start of something awesome. We’ll be at their unveiling event tomorrow night to see this work for real and I really cannot wait.

That’s pretty awesome, but I’m afraid to learn the price.
