If you’ve been with technology for a while, you probably remember the days where everything was fed into the command line. Nowadays, we have a GUI for practically everything! Now, even if you didn’t grow up with the command line, I’m sure you know of it and at least how to use it in the most basic sense. Most people on the Internet have also stumbled across sites known as forums or message boards. Now, imagine for a moment that you’ve come across a forum website where everything is fed through command line. I’ve never seen a site quite like it ever before, except ApertureScience.com, but that is definitely not a forum. For some people, this will bring a great feeling of nostalgia, others may see a unique and intriguing concept, and some others, unfortunately, will probably hate it. To each their own, though.
To get on the site, you’ll need an invite code. I have reserved 20 for Pixelated Geek WHILE THEY LAST. The staff said that in a couple weeks, they were planning to remove existing invites to become more exclusive. If more than 20 people ask for invites, I can’t guarantee that extras will be available, but if they are I’ll still send. If you want an invite, just make a comment below and make sure to fill out the email field with a valid email. When you join, you can request invites and give them out as well, for now.
I bet by now you’re looking for a link to the site. Well here it is! [Click!] You can’t really do much without an invite code, but type in “pi” and hit enter for a kick. Sound helps.
