Lego Printer Prototype Makes You Wish You Could Find That One Darn Piece

Remember playing with Legos as a kid and being always needing that one piece that you just saw 500 times before?  Aparently horseattack, over on youtube, never had that problem.

I designed/built/coded it all from scratch including analog motor electronics, sensors and printer driver, the USB interface uses a “wiring” board.

All in the course of 3 weeks, the “Lego felt tip 110″ is still probably more reliable than my old HP Laserjet.  Running at a speedy 1 ppm and 75 dpi,  and complete with tiny Lego workers powering the entire rig.
