Do you remember the future? Specifically, Back to the Future. It’s been 25 years since the original Back to the Future was released, and, if you didn’t have a chance to see it in theaters, then you are in luck. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, AMC theaters will be screening the original Back to the Future — digitally remastered — in select cities. Each theater will also have giveaways (such as a commemorative poster) for each fan attending. Move past the break to view the poster and the trailer for the re-release of Back to the Future.
AMC will have two screenings, one on Saturday October 23 at 12:30 p.m. and the other on Monday October 25 at 7 p.m. If you’re a fan of the film, these dates should ring a bell, as October 25, 1985 is the day it all began. On this fateful day, Marty gets caught as tardy by Strickland, and Doc Brown tells Marty to meet him at 1:15 a.m. the next morning at Twin Pines Mall.
So, come October, jump in your DeLorean, gun it to 88 miles per hour to the theater, and make sure you order a Pepsi Free from the concession stand. Click here for a full listing of what cities and theaters will be screening Back to the Future. Finally, enjoy the re-release trailer below:
