Apple Keynote Summary

After the usual “hey-look-at-how-much-money-we-are-making” portion of the keynote event, Apple announced their newest products.

iLife ’11 officially announced:

  • Same apps but all updated.
  • iPhoto – New full screen modes, Facebook enhancements, and sharing tools integrated with HTML emails and social apps.
  • iMovie – New audio editing, one step effects, create your own (cheesy) movie trailers and people finder.
  • Garageband – Groove matching (it’s like AutoTune but for people who can’t keep a beat) and a virtual music teacher.
  • Comes free with every new Mac and $49 to upgrade on your current Mac.
  • iLife’11 available today.

  • FaceTime coming to Mac.
  • Now you can make calls between iPhone 4’s, iPod Touch’s, and Macs.
  • Landscape and Portrait modes.
