Rachel’s Holiday Wish List

I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of the holidays. I work a lot and, if I do see family, it usually isn’t a big get-together.  Working in retail generally makes me dread the holidays, but I still decorate to bring back some of the Christmas cheer.  This year, all I asked for was money to put toward a trip I’m planning soon.  However, if I did give a Christmas wish list, here are some of the gifts I would include:

Kanto Gym Badge Pins

My book bag is pretty boring, and what better way to show off my geekiness than with these rather fantastic pins?  Really though, these items are fantastic.  Even the material looks pretty legit, not just a cheap fabric badge.

Price: $15

Where to buy: Sanshee

Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Gaming Mouse

I realize that this mouse is complete overkill.  That being said, it looks amazing.  See all the little pieces?  Yeah?  Every one of them is adjustable somehow.  You can even control the weight of the mouse.  There is the R.A.T. 5 as well for a little cheaper, but not every single part is adjustable like this one is.  The R.A.T. 9 exists as well, which has even more features.

Price: $75 – $100

Where to buy: Newegg has it for the cheapest, but is currently out of stock, so try Amazon for $88.

An Entire Case of Bawls Guarana

I have a love for all things energy drink.  Bawls has taken that love to a whole new level.  I would drink the original (and pretty much still do drink) as a regular soda.  The fantastic G33K B33R really does taste like root beer, which I absolutely love.  I’m not a diet drink kind of girl, so I can’t vouch for the sugar-free version, but I am sure it is almost as tasty.

Price: $39 for a case of 24

Where to buy: check your local game center or ThinkGeek.

Gelaskins Skin for Xbox 360 S

I first heard of Gelaskins when I went to Dragon*Con and toured the artists’ walk.  One of the artists was selling Gelaskins that fit my 2nd generation iPod.  I was so enamored by it (and just the fact that there was something available for my old iPod) that I had to get it.  Since then, I like to browse the Gelaskins website and dream of everything on which I would put artwork.

Price: 29.95 (varied for other products)

Kodak Playsport HD Camcorder

I go on a lot of adventures and I would love to have a nice, little handy cam like this to take along with me.  My regular digital camera is awkward to use as a video camera.  Water resistance, image stabilization, high ratings, and the price make me want this camcorder especially.  It doesn’t hurt that it also comes in purple.

Price: $120 – $150

Where to buy: Best Buy (type in 9807476, and it will lead you to the product)

I realize my list is a bit short, but maybe you can add to it.  What did you ask for Christmas this year for?
