Wow the DC Universe is having a pretty exciting 2011. With the upcoming Green Lantern movie starring Ryan Reynolds what better way to celebrate then with a sequel to one of my favorite DCU Animated Films Green Lantern: First Flight. This time around things are going to be a little different. First with the great news that our “Captain” Nathan Fillion will be doing the voice work of character Hal Jordan. Also this time it appears the film will be from the perspective of other Lanterns aside from just Jordan.
Okay the Trailer looks awesome! I think they have a really solid idea for how to tell Green Lantern story. I think this might be a great introduction into the Green Lantern Corps. I like the idea of seeing an event from different Corps member’s perspectives. Here’s hoping for some more Kilowog and Arisa. Though after watching the trailer there appears to be some Sinestro Corp members? I wonder how that will work into the story. Well here’s hoping this flick will uphold the quality that is none with the DC Universe animated movies. Though with a Fillion Hal Jordan combo I don’t know how you couldn’t :)
