Natsume has officially announced that a new installation of the popular series Rune Factory will be coming to the Wii and PS3 later this year. This will be the series’ first release on the PS3.
The new game, entitled Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, will follow the same format as previous Rune Factory games; think Harvest Moon with some RPG and dungeon-crawling involved. The story will focus on two characters, Aden and Sonja as they work to restore their home island, Fenith from a terrible curse that also left them as two souls sharing one body. The game, previously known as Rune Factory: Oceans, focuses on islands and aquatic dungeons for the premise of the game.
Keep your eyes out during E3, as Natsume will be making the game’s debut (and probably give us an actual release date) at that time.
