Perfect World Entertainment has released its free-to-play multiplayer shooter Blacklight:Retribution for Steam today.
Retribution is now freely available for download over Steam. Players unfamiliar with the free-to-play multiplayer shooter can consult the new trailer showcasing the game’s Hero lineup, included after the break. New Oceanic servers have also been launched to service players in and around Australia and New Zealand, improving latency issues for players in those regions connecting to play with North American players.
To celebrate the launch, Blacklight: Retribution players who reach level five after registering on Steam will be granted an orange Portal weapon tag. During the first week of launch both Steam and veteran players will also have the chance to win a blue Portal weapon tag.
