E3 2014 attendees were treated to a brand new trailer from EA for Star Wars Battlefront. Niklas Fegreaus, design director at DICE, explains how they looked at Battlefront as “the opportunity of a lifetime to make the Star Wars game that, as fans, we’ve always dreamt of playing.”
The trailer is more of a teaser, as the majority of the video is scenes of the making of the game; working with the original props from the Lucas Archives, and traveling to the actual locations where so many iconic Star Wars scenes were filmed. There are several shots of early in-engine footage though, promising some impressive gameplay.
The end of the trailer promises “see more Spring 2015.”
