As you can see, MGSV: TPP is really getting packed full of content. Even if you just opt to buy the standard version of the game, you’ll still be treated to the largest Metal Gear Solid game ever conceived. Not only that, but as soon as the game is released, Metal Gear Online will also go live. So you’re ostensibly getting two games for the price of one.

I would be lying if I said I’m anything less than extremely excited to finally get my hands on MGS: TPP. Although I don’t care too much about MGO, it was still a ton of fun to play the MGS4 iteration of the online multi-player game. But the interesting thing about Metal Gear Solid is that Konami smartly never tries to drown the market with advertisements. Each time more information comes out it just serves to add to the hype while somehow not over-hyping the games. Granted, series creator Hideo Kojima tends to never promise more than he can deliver so that probably helps things a lot.

In any case, I’m looking forward to this game. What about you? Do you like the Metal Gear Solid series? Are you looking forward to the latest installment? Let us know!
