Wonder Woman TV Series is a Go!

After these last couple of weeks of internet rumors that the Wonder Woman series wouldn’t be happening. It appears NBC has had a change of heart as they decided to pick up David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot season.

Kelley who is most notable for his TV series Alley Mcbeal, will bring a new version of this iconic heroines. Where Wonder Woman aka: Diana Prince is a Vigilante, Corporate Executive and a Modern Woman attempting to keep balance.

Review: EyeTV HD

For quite sometime I’ve been searching for the a way to record HD Video to my Laptop. There have been tons of options but many of them were PC only, which usually included a ridiculous price tag. Being a Mac user my options were rather limited. During a rather long google search I found a forum that recommended the EyeTV HD. I’ve had a couple of weeks to review the device.

So is the EyeTV HD the ultimate in affordable Video Recording options? How well does it work? Full Review and Video Quality Test after the break.

Preview: DC Universe Online Beta

I’ve been reading Comic Books for quite sometime, both Marvel and DC. Though with the not so recent  Green Lantern Rebirth and the  Green Lantern Corps Recharge I’ve found myself a bit hooked on the DC Universe. Which was perfect timing for Sony Online Entertainment and DC to team up for the DC Universe Online.

I’ve had a couple of weeks with the DCUO Beta on the PS3. So is it the next World of Warcraft? How does it hold up to other MMOs. What’s my take as a resident DC Comics fan? Special Preview Video and write up after the break.

Things to Look Forward to: Jan 10th – 16th

It’s Tuesday and you’re back to work, don’t worry there is plenty of Things to Look Forward to. Essentially a list of everything that is coming out this week. First up is David Fincer’s latest movie The Social Network that debuts on both DVD and Blu Ray. Perhaps you were looking for something a little more Super. Lucky for you DC Comics has got you covered with DC Universe Online the latest MMO from Sony Online Entertainment. I actually had some hands on time with the Beta and it’s a pretty solid game, especially if you are a DC fan. If that’s a little to Super for you then it might be time to hit up the Theaters for the Reboot of The Green Hornet.

With Technology improving at such as fast pace it seems that Independent Movie making might become more of a standard. With high quality Videos appearing on YouTube and Vimeo I wonder if Hollywood is taking notice.

What an interesting event the 2010 VGA Red Carpet was, especially considering that there was no red carpet at the event. The biggest highlight for me personally was getting to chat with the Naughty Dog team about all things Uncharted. With various rumors floating around about the casting of Drake for the upcoming Uncharted movie. Furthermore, we witnessed the release date and trailer for Uncharted 3 which led to a very emotional Tripod Podcast team. I figured it was time to ask the question on everyone’s mind.
