Exclusive Interview with Adam – Fastest Mirror’s Edge Player in the World

woody

PG: What were your expectations of ME before playing it?

W: I expected it to be as realistic as parkour/free running is today with the exception of giant red checkpoints that you have to follow, and i wanted it to be really competitive for the top spot on the leaderboards.

PG: Has DICE/EA reached any of those expectations?

W: I think they have made it as realistic as it needs to be… but there’s some glitches that make it so unrealistic its not even funny, they need to fix those. Also it is quite competitive on the leaderboards too, but i don’t think anybody wants 1st as much as i do.

PG: How long did it take you to beat the whole game?

W: Haha i don’t really know to be honest, not very long though i had played the demo for a long time so i was already pretty good with the control layout and knew how to go about solving puzzles, i would say somewhere between 2-3 hours.

Watchmen, the 8bit Game

picture-11

Got some time on your hands? Good, cause Warners Bros. has just released a free Watchmen 8bit game. This game is so retro right down to the 8bit sound. It kind of reminds me a bit of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game and Double Dragon.

You can take on the role of one of two crime-fighting Watchmen characters, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre. The controls are your left and right arrow keys to move around, the space bar to jump and C and V keys to punch and kick.

How did this commercial get on the air?

YouTube Preview Image

Last night, I was watching some Futurama on Comedy Central when the above ad appeared.  How did this get on the air?  So, the FCC is telling me that implied blowjobs are ok to show on the air? I think the below classic internet video below would be a better ad.

DJ Earworm – Not your average DJ

DJ’s have been “mashing up” songs for a while now.  What’s a “mash up?”  Basically, it’s taking 2 or more songs and mixing them together to create a brand new song.  The first time I heard of a mashed up song was when Jay-Z and Linkin Park collaborated on Collision Course. A week later, I heard a mash up of Green Day and Oasis.  This new style of mixing pleased my ear like it was candy and I couldn’t get enough of it.

Now enter DJ Earworm.  This DJ doesn’t settle for the usual 2 or 3 song mash up.  He goes for 25 songs. Not only that, if you listen closely to the video above, you’ll hear that there is an actual small story going on. Here’s a hint:

“We in the bed like.. A-M-O-R…”

“AMOR” equals love, if you didn’t catch that.  Check out more mash ups by DJ Earworm by visiting his site: djearworm.com

10 Geek Tramp Stamps

appletrampstamp1
I don’t know who started the fad of putting tattoos on your lower back, but I don’t mind seeing them on the ladies.  And whats hotter is a geek or nerd girl that gets one.  She doesn’t say shes promiscuous, but seeing a “tramp stamp” might say she is.  Now, there are some hot geek tramp stamps and then there are some geek tramp stamps that just look like a bad idea.  Makes you wonder “wtf were you thinking?!”
