Preview and Review – Transformers Lost Light #9

Last issue (spoilers!) (no seriously if you haven’t read last issue quit reading!) we found out exactly how obsessed Nautica is with bringing Skids back: she’s been hiding his brain-module behind her eye patch. Inside her head. She was keeping his dead brain inside her head. It’s a gesture of extreme devotion and oh my lord is it creepy. I mean it makes wearing a vial of your lovers blood around your neck look reasonable and understated in comparison.

As creepy as it is, it’s still not as far as Nautica’s willing to go.  See below for preview pages and a review of Lost Light #9.

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con we got to talk for a few minutes with IDW’s David Rodriguez and Mairghread Scott, writers for IDW’s Transformers. We discussed the end of Mairghread’s Till All Are One series (and why she wrote Starscream the way she did, because almost against our will we became huge fans of the character) and about IDW’s new First Strike arc and what that means for the Transformers and G.I. New trailer for Rememory starring Peter Dinklage and Anton Yelchin

Early next month Rememory, a murdery-mystery-sci-fi thriller, will appear in select theaters, starring Peter Dinklage and Julia Ormond alongside Anton Yelchin (…that is never going to not feel weird and sad to see scenes he filmed years ago in a new movie..) but it will be available for free on Google Play on August 24.
