Review – Transformers: Lost Light #4

Rodimus’ crew is marooned in a parallel universe where the bad guys are still in control and about to destroy anybody who isn’t “useful.” In the regular universe the “lucky” folks are just getting their feelings eviscerated, if they’re not getting literally eviscerated. So, a typical Wednesday then?

WonderCon 2017 – So many panels, so little time

It’s that time again, time to figure out how I’m going to get to all the WonderCon panels I want to see and still find time to walk the sales floor and, I don’t know, eat and sleep at some point. Review – Empowered and the Soldier of Love #2

Sexy superheroine Empowered is still battling the Soldier of Love (the evil Magical Girl with a love gun and a massive chip on her shoulder) (and a magical pangolin) (you heard me) and Ninjette is Not. Review – The Wild Storm #2

All Angela Spica did was save someone’s life. And now hers is over. The rogue engineer lies bleeding in a place she hopes nobody will find – but she’s wrong. The people embedded in the secret power structures of the world are tracking her. Skywatch. Halo. International Operations. A covert operative called Grifter.

If only she hadn’t unknowingly foiled an assassination planned by her boss. If only her boss wasn’t the one person more interested in the Engineer’s transhuman implants than in her life.

It’s all going very wrong, very quickly. There’s going to be more blood.

Review – American Gods: Shadows #1

Whether you’ve read Neil Gaiman’s American Gods or not, whether you’re waiting for the mini-series or didn’t even know it was a thing, you should definitely check out Dark Horse’s new comic book adaptation. If the first issue’s any indication, it’s going to be epic. See below for preview pages and a review of Neil Gaiman, Scott Hampton, and P. Craig Russell’s American Gods: Shadows #1.
