So, when I was a kid I always wanted to be an astronaut. Even though I was great at math and science I was lazy, so here I am just writing about a space movie. When I saw the preview for Life I just knew I had to see it. Now that I’ve seen this movie let me just say that I never, ever want to go to space. Ever.

Dead on, you need something savage and green to take to that St. Patrick’s Day party. Sorry, that is all the Irish slang I know. I don’t understand the need to dye all the foods the color of the holiday, but that doesn’t stop me from baking, dyeing and shoving that cake right in my face!

If  you are thinking, “I can’t bake.” Yes you can and don’t worry! I have a simple recipe for Rum Cake that was my Granny’s “semi-homemade” recipe for the working woman with no time or is a terrible baker or a lazy ass like myself.

The new trailer for Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” debuted during ABC’s broadcast of “The Bachelor” featuring new footage and Ariana Grande and John Legend’s duet of the iconic song Beauty and the Beast. Directed by Bill Condon, the film brings the story and characters audiences know and love to life in a stunning, cinematic event. Superhero Sworn in to City Council

A recent Washington Post article, written by Cleve Wootson, highlighted the swearing in ceremony of Lan Diep. Diep donned his replica Captain America shield as he took his oath of office as a member of San Jose’s City Council. This true nerd and collector of all the nerdy things stated that “There are few opportunities for a grown, adult lawyer to whip out things that some people would choose to classify as toys. So they’ve languished in my closet, safe from scratches, thieves and those who would mercilessly mock me.” Awe, Lan Diep, we would never mock you. We commend you! Stay Nerdy!
