The Highs and Lows of the PSX 2016 Keynote

The PlayStation Experience has come and gone for another year, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t bring some good and some not so good stuff with it. As with last year’s keynote, PlayStation came in swinging and left the room full of PlayStation fans impressed for the most part. Granted there were a few moments where it seemed Sony might be dropping the ball, but they quickly made up for it by doing what Sony does best: cater to their audience. And with that, let’s take a look at what the internet thought was the greatest thing of all time, and what was the worst thing to ever happen ever. Hyperbole is fun! Review: World of Warcraft: Legion

Twelve years after its launch, World of Warcraft still remains the biggest MMORPG in terms of user base and arguably the best around. Newer MMOs try to copy what WoW does, but none have bested the titan that is the World of Warcraft. Although, the game has seen a notable decline in recent years. This was most likely due to the slow trickle of new content from its previous expansion, Warlords of Draenor. However, with the advent of LegionWoW is seems poised to make a full-on comeback.

In fact, due to the Legion’s launch, WoW has seen its biggest spike in sales since 2010’s expansion, Cataclysm. At the time of this writing, Legion has been delighting fans with new questing zones, interesting dungeon encounters, artifact weapons that level up with you, and so much lore that’ll have you scouring every nook and cranny for answers. But does it have the legs to keep the community around?

There are a handful of games that do this, but Worms took it to a whole other level.

After countless iterations of Worms, Team 17 has returned to the realm of 2D and frankly it’s good to be back. How does this game hold up in the franchise? Is it another sit-on-the-couch multiplayer?

Video Review : Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3 is the unforgiving final chapter in the acclaimed Souls series. Designed for new comers and veterans alike, Dark Souls 3 combines the fast paced action of Bloodborne with the plotting, methodical game play that Dark Souls is known for.

After only playing Bloodborne, the sister series of the Souls games, I more or less went into the game entirely blind. And even though I had my teeth knocked out of me repeatedly, I’d have to say Dark Souls 3 is one of the best games I’ve played this year. Hit the jump and check out the video review! Read On
