Come join us on March 18th, Wednesday night at 7:30pm Pacific Standard Time. We’ll be streaming live as we usually at that day and time but have a different theme. The whole show will be dedicated to World of Warcraft. The most popular MMORPG in the world. During the show, we’ll be talking with 3 guests from the WoW community that are of 3 different skill levels:
- Matticus from WorldofMatticus (Raider) | @mattycus

Then, we’ll be introducing 2 new websites, the first is aimed to help WoW players find/recruit guild members (WoW Head Hunter) and the second is a webpage designed to pull all the popular Warcraft news feeds into 1 easy homepage.
In addition to all this, we’ll be doing a LIVE Trivia contest. Just like a morning radio show, we’ll have viewers call in, using Skype, to compete against other viewers to win some prizes that we are giving away. What are the prizes? Glad you asked!

Zelda Car for Sale $500
A 1978 Ford Fairmont is up for sale for $500. Even for that small price, I doubt anyone would buy it. I still appluad the artist who took the time to draw out the whole outside world map of the original Zelda game on the car. But it is just way too tacky.
The original owner is selling it because she got a new Prius. It only has 110k miles on it, which is really good for a car of that age. If you’re interested (and I doubt you are), call up Kathy at 503-312-1024 if you’re in the Corvallis, Oregon area.
More photos of this car past the break.

Watchmen opening credits [Video]
Update 2: scroll down. we found another source.
Update: We have received an email from Noah K. of yu+co:
“Please remove the Watchmen titles from your site. It has copyright laws protecting it. I am asking nicely. The site has ben flagged and the next person will not be as friendly.
Please remove to protect yourself. Thank you.”
*Free speech time*
Noah, I genuinely thank you and yu+co for your willingness to share this artwork with the world. However, I’m thoroughly upset with Hollywood’s actions. Just on the basis of curiosity – will removing the video “protect” myself from one of those mean and scary MPAA lawyers? While I’m willing to cooperate with your request, I’m failing to understand the intentions of Hollywood’s top executives: is it one of their main objectives to prevent their work from having an online viral effect? Does that mean they don’t want more visibility, and further, a larger fan base?
The video montage was a work of art. Viewers of this web site were appreciating what your company did, they were not stealing it. It was a simple, unique and all-around awesome sequence. I mean, come on, Hollywood. This is why I think they’re being, well, silly:
(1) They’re putting an unexplainable amount of time and effort…
(2) to threateningly take down this particular video…
(3) from every web site and blog…
(4) IN THE WORLD.
(5) The sad news is that it simply will not stop people from finding it.
The MPAA can huff and puff, but they will never blow the Internet down – nobody’s scared of the big, bad wolf anymore.
By the time they’re (close to) taking down all sources of this amazing video art piece, the DVD for Watchmen will already be out. And people who would have originally seen merely the opening credits would have already (surprise!) found the movie’s torrent.
The Internet cannot be stopped. Hollywood – GL HF, and… http://www.dailymotion.com/videox8mzal

“Anyway… to respect copyright and uY+co, (and Noah K at uY+co) I am not hosting this on my site.
Out of respect to the incredible Watchmen movie, I am just pointing to another place that does host it. Just like Google and all the other search engines do.”

To me, this was a very unique opening sequence. The opening, made by Yu+Co, had a very old comic book feel to it with subtle movements and cg effects. The company was nice enough to post it on their website for the whole web to see. The company has also done big film credit sequences for films like 300, Enchanted, and The Italian Job. Every piece of work they have done was done in good taste and great creativity. The idea for The Watchmen’s opening credit sequence seems very much like those old Gatorade commercials.
The Making of Dr. Manhattan [Video]
It’s very cool what movies can do nowadays. Special effects teams are getting more creative and clever everyday.
“Crudup’s suit was also equipped with 2500 LEDs to create Manhattan’s diffuse blue glow. (Initial tests to ensure the suit’s effectiveness occurred in June 2007 with a naked Beowulf, also created by Sony Imageworks, standing in for Manhattan.) The lights stretched from Crudup’s head, fitted with a light cap, down to specially built high-tops with blue LEDs in the soles, and even special gloves, leaving only his face and neck uncovered. “He looked,” Travers says, “like a character from Tron.”

Disney / Pixar’s Up – New Trailer
This is going to be another great Pixar movie. I’ve always been a big Pixar fan since Toy Story. No matter what people say about thier, wether it be good or bad, I loved them all. Up seems to have a plot about an old man reconnecting with his young life and learning to appreciate everything the outside world has to offer.
This movie comes out May 29, 2009.

Five Video Game Characters I’ve Had a Crush on
While my male gaming counterparts had the benefit of Lara Croft’s booty shorts, Tifa Lockheart’s breasts, and the Night Elves’, um, sound effects, my hormones chased after more testosterone-filled characters who constantly made my heart skip a frame. And in spite of spending hours on end with complete views of his backside – no, I didn’t have a crush on Link.
![]()
Damon Baird, Gears of War series - ”Room for one more, it’s a fucking party down here.”
Hopefully he’s wearing the blue goggles because he’s aware that things will be squirting all over his face. I mean, like, my love. It’s not even about his bulging muscles or his handsomely rugged facial structure – it’s his deft mannerisms in everything mechanical. Any man who can hack into the Geobot can easily hack into my love zone. I kind of wish he would pull out his chainsaw and melee the shit out of me – he makes my hormones go Berserker.
![]()
Seifer Almasy, Final Fantasy VIII - “I hate it when you wish me luck. Save it for the slow students who need it.”
There’s something about the way the single strand of hair falls gracefully onto his forehead. And there’s something about the way he can wield his gunblade with only one hand. This arrogant son of a bitch was a monster on the battlefield, and I’ll bet that behavior can transpire into other environments. Seifer, let me be the reason why you fail your SeeD exams – we can go fishing and play Triple Triad all day, and you can summon me all night long.
![]()
Akuma, Street Fighter series - ”I am power made flesh.”
I’ve always wanted Akuma to show me the powerful flesh that he’s talking about – maybe I can find pixels of that fiery red hair elsewhere. And I’d like to personally experience his perfect balance of speed and strength, and then get a taste of his raging demon. There’s always something thrilling about the top-tiers, and it’s understandable; if I were a Street Fighter character, I’d have no problem with him being on top of me, either. And even though he’s not always at the top, he’ll always need someone to work the joystick and mash buttons for him.
![]()
Falco Lombardi, Star Fox series - ”Hold still and lemme shoot you.”
This might make me a furry, but I wouldn’t try to wobble out if he did a barrel roll all over my face. I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed this, but Falco’s arwing is bigger, faster, and stronger than Fox’s, Slippy’s and Peppy’s arwings combined. Falco doesn’t take shit from anyone – he comes and leaves as he pleases. And that’s what I love in a man. Or, um, bird. Slippy constantly nagged Fox to “get this guy off me,” but I won’t be nagging you any time soon, Falco – especially if “that guy” is you.

Gary Oak (Rival), Pokemon series - ”You’re telling me you conquered all the gyms in Johto? Heh! Johto’s gyms must be pretty pathetic then.”
Gary MOTHERFUCKING Oak is easily the most bad-ass antagonist in the history of gaming. However, if bad-assness isn’t enticing enough, then take a mere glance at the incredible size of his Pokedex. I’d get a little excited every time Gary’s theme music came on and I know that he got excited, too. This was indicated by the exclamation point that hovered over his head. And by “the exclamation point” I mean “my nipples,” and by “hovered over his head” I mean “got hard.” Maybe he can show me a thing or two about his giant Pokeballs. Smell ya later? Gary, I want to smell you NOW.
