Looks like the first “pitch” has been thrown for Left 4 Dead 2. Check out the 1st TV ad for the popular game. Also, if you haven’t pre-ordered the game yet on Steam or at your local gamestore, do it now so you can “go up to bat.”

Breast cancer is no laughing matter and we must all continue to support the pink ribbon.  One way is to create humorous  ads like the one above.  Or you can just start your own mammogram center at your place to help out the cause.

Really Burger King?  Did you really need to do this to get peoples attention? Oh, wait.  It got mine. Dammit! If this is their ad for the 7 incher, im glad that dont have the $5 foot long.

Straight Pimpin'

Ok, we aren’t professional copywriters, but here were some suggestions that we came up with for this ad’s copy:

• Put the King’s Super Seven Incher in your mouth and you’ll end up with some of his thick and hearty sauce everywhere.
• You’ve seen his Super Seven Incher, now the King wants to play a game called ‘Just the Tip.’
• The King knows you’ll like his Super Seven Incher… it just tastes better.
• This King’s new Super Seven Incher, you can’t take it in with a closed mouth.

While waiting to see if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would become “turtle soup” or actually kick Shredders ass, I would sit in front of the TV and wait through the commercials how the scene unfolds. During the commercial break, one spot would almost always come up.  It was the TV spot for Barbie’s Fold ‘n Fun House (I build). The commercial is so repetative and catchy.

Kind of like that kid song, “There was the hole, in the middle of the ground.  The prettiest hole, that you ever did see….” If you don’t know that song, sorry. Any who.  The commercial was so catchy that even to this day, I remember it word for word.
