Today in beautiful Hollywood, California, a group of cosplayers gathered for what could have been a record breaking attempt for the most cosplayers in one place. The current record is held by Melbourne, Australia with 1,245 people. Sadly, the title still belongs to Australia since not many people showed up. How many exactly? All around Comic Con, you will see costumes inspired by anime, comic book heroes, movie/tv characters, and also steam punk. Out of all the costumes/cosplay we have seen through the 5 days of covering the event we think this one was the best. Maybe even “epic.”  Not only did this lady dress up in a steam punk outfit, but she also pimped out her “ride.” Check out the video past the break to get a closer look at it.

Well, this is it. The last batch of cosplayers that were walking around the convention floor.  The last day is always known to most Comic Con veterans as clearance day.  The day when exhibitors try to sell as much as they can by putting sale prices on items that were not bought yet so they don’t have to ship much back.  This is why there isn’t much cosplaying taking place as Day 3 and also because the masquerade is over by this day.

Saturday, day 3 of every Comic Con is always the peak day of when people in costumes come out and show what they have been working on for months.  The reason being for this is because, one, it’s the first weekend day of the convention and two, this is when the annual masquerade event happens.

I too was a little bit confused when I saw these guys.  Why was Aquaman looking dirty? Why did this guy come in with a hard hat and fake money? Then I saw the BP logo on his hard hat and it all made sense. BP is a joke now and people are cosplaying as it at Comic Con. Go past the break to see the photos.

It’s the best part of being a geek at Comic Con. Seeing women dress up in the hottest outfits as the super heroes we see in comics and movies.  The artists draw them, and Comic Con brings them to life. On the second day of Comic Con 2010, we decided to take pictures of the more of the well put together costumes, rather than ones that looked like crap.
