Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed 2: Multiplayer for the iPhone today. The game allows up to 4 players to go online and compete in a simple game-type. The goal is to hunt down and kill the other 3 assassins. The game features 24 in-game achievements, three cities, six power-ups, and leaderboards.

Gamestop is currently offering a crazy deal on trade-ins. All games are now receiving a 50% trade-in bonus. This deal also stacks with the 10% bonus you get from having and Edge card. With most new and popular games getting around $30 in trade-in credit, this deal would offer you a chance to purchase a new game with very little money needed. This promotion is going on until March 14.

CNN recently posted an article cribbed from BoyGeniusReport.com stating that AT&T will be selling iPhones for around $600-700 without the usual 2-year strings attached.  They are taking this as a sign that AT&T is trying to clear space for a new model down the road ( based on no actual evidence, but they REALLY want it :p ).

For me, I’m happy with my G1 … at least the Custom App ‘Store’ rules are not so draconian.

This DEAL-A-DAY website can be summarized in 1 word. RANDOM.

Every night at midnight US-Central time (1am EST, 11pm MST, 10pm PST), Woot.com posts a new item that is up for sale.

What do they sell at woot? Random things. But mostly random tech things.
Are the items they sell new or refurbished? It can be randomly either or.
How much stock/quantity of an item on sale? A random number.

The site also sells Random Bags of Crap for only $1 each (max 3 per person). Whats in a Bag of Crap? Random things. It is rumored that 3 people received a Wii and 1 person received a big screen tv.

On random days woot.com will do, what is called, a “woot-off.” This is when they temporarily the way the site sells random things.  Instead of waiting for midnight US-Central time, you just wait for the current item up for sale is sold out. If that item current item does not sell out, then it will be changed after 12-hours. How long do Woot-Offs last? Random lengths. Sometimes 24 hours, sometimes 72. You just wont know until the lights are no longer there.
