A Very Creative Way to Quit Your Job

A 2k Austrailia Game dev decided to move on with his life. But before doing so, he made the above game to let people know… “I QUIT!” To play, use the arrow keys to move around and the spacebar to jump. Please note that if you are prone to epilipsy, you might not want to play this game. More after the break.

Honda's Vimeo Page Takeover

Homepage and childpage takeovers are nothing new in the web design ad agency industry.  But the agency, Wieden + Kennedy from Amsterdam, takes traditional takeovers to a new level. Thanks in part to Vimeo’s cooperation with the idea, Honda’s new hybrid commercial leaps off of the usual flash video player box, and completely takes over the whole page. Check it out:

Maggie is just too damn good at this art.  She should really start selling some of these.  The whole internets is taking notice to her art work and everyone wants a piece of it. This time she has made a sackgirl of Kai from Heavenly Sword.  It comes in at a height of 13.5 inches and a weight of over 1 pound.  As with every sackboy/girl creation, her atention to detail to the inspiration video game character is perfect.

I’m defenitely going to try and get Maggie on PixelatedLIVE sometime in the near future so we can all learn more about her and her process to make a Sackboy/girl.

How Big is Your Lens?

Compensating for something?

Compensating for something?

Now, I’m not sure what kind of photographers need a lens this big, but in the whole my ‘lens’ is bigger than yours, this one takes the biscuit! Actually I’m pretty impressed that Juza can wield the $28,999.00 monster Sigma 200-500mm F2.8 EX DG without a tripod, especially that he can get any sort of steady shot with it. Check out the sample shots below, and if you see anything you like, head on over to Juza Nature Photography.

Carousel: A Cinema 21:9 Production

Posted by: |

If you loved the opening credits sequence of Watchmen, you’re going to love the video below by Phillips.  This video was done to promote the new 21:9 Cinema Widescreen TV.  It looks like when a machinima artist “pauses” the game and runs around the map or level.  The full sequence below also loops around to tell the story. Very artistic, very creative and very awesome.

UPDATE: StinkDigital has given us exclusive Behind-The-Scenes photos and video of the production!
