Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, Mr. fourzerotwo, just let twitter know to expect the first map pack for Modern Warfare 2 on March 30. In what I am sure they feel is a clever PR move, his twitter links people to a website about Mapathy. I guess with the firing of the two studio heads, IW now has extra money to hire people to come up with clever terms for map packs.

Next week’s Rock Band DLC has 2 more songs from one of my favorite bands, Tenacious D. I doubt you’ll be able to 5 star any of Tenacious D’s songs.  That is unless you know what a “deep knee rock squat” is.

The first of three promised DLC’s for Red Faction: Guerrilla will be available August 13. And if you are just expecting a few multiplayer maps and some new toys you’re wrong.

Demons of the Badlands is more like a prequel, taking you back in time before Alec Mason arrives on the Red Planet. Playing as Samanya, the tech guru and salvage recycling genius from the single player campaign.

You can pick up Demons of the Badlands later this summer and kick some Marauder ass  for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 on the Playstation Network.

You waited for it. Download it NOW via PSN, Xbox Live and EA’s online store.  All the new maps were designed in a way that Faith would dream about.  Have fun in there and good luck to the competitive runners.  Now go out there and flow!

We are a week and a half away from from the release of Street Fighter IV, the next installment from the pinnacle of greatness of all fighting games, and there has already been an announcement for DLC to be released for the game.

Such content includes:

• Championship Mode Expansion Pack (free): lets you record, download, and upload matches, and a new points and tournament-matching system.
• New Costume Packs (320 MS points for Xbox 360 or $3.99 on PlayStation 3:

1. 2/17 – Brawler Pack DLC Pack will include alternate costumes for: Zangeif, E.Honda, Rufus, El Furete, and Abel.
2. 2/24 – Femme Fatale Pack will include alternate costumes for: Chun-Li, Cammy, Sakura, Rose, and C.Viper.
3. 3/3 – Shoryuken Pack will include alternate costumes for: Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Gouken, and Dan.
4. 3/10 – Shadowloo Pack will include alternate costumes for: Seth, M.Bison, Sagat, Balrog, and Vega.
5. 3/17 – Classic Pack will include alternate costumes for: Guile, Dhalsim, Fei-Long, Blanka, and Gen.

Even though I am the sucks of Street Fighter games, it is always a fun game to play with friends so I am excited for the release.  As for the DLC, these are pretty cool for those who enjoy sharing matches as with watching other matches, as well with the new costumes.  I’d rather just get the Femme Fatale Pack and see what new outfits there are for the deadly Cammy.

Probably in preparation for the soon to be released Gears of War 2 title update, Xbox.com has posted an additional seven Gears 2 achievements. The new achievements – which aren’t unlockable until the patch releases – add an extra 175 Gamerscore to Gears 2’s total and all are targeted toward achievements made in multiplayer on the Flashback and Combustible DLC. When Grand Theft Auto 4 was announced there was one major feature for the xbox 360 version was exclusive Downloadable content.  Many people thought it will never come but today there was information finally released. It will be available Feb. 17.  It will be stars Johnny Klebitz, a member of Liberty City biker gang The Lost.

“Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background,” says Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games. “I can’t go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City.”
