Unlike many game reviews, I’m certain that this review isn’t going to inspire anyone to go out and buy DNF. But that isn’t my goal; instead, I want to inspire thought and discussion around it, and around other games related to sensitive subjects.

Another Special Announcement From Gearbox Software Regarding Duke Nukem Forever

Last time Gearbox Software had an announcement regarding Duke Nukem Forever, it wasn’t exactly the best news.  After all, when a game has been in development for 13 years and still somehow manages to get delayed a month, skepticism is pretty much warranted.

This time, Gearbox has yet another announcement to make to its fans.  Is it more bad news?  Again, after 13 years, it would hardly be surprising.  So just what does Gearbox have to say about Duke Nukem Forever this time around?  We’re not telling.  You’ll just have to check out the video to find out.

In a press release just sent out this morning, OnLive has announced that Duke Nukem Forever will be released on OnLive at the same date it hits store shelves, June 14.  Actually, the company will release it on June 14 at 12:01am.  This marks the second time OnLive has been able to release a new game on its service at the same time it hits store shelves.  I hope this trend becomes more frequent.

OnLive  is a great service for any gamer, mostly for the fact that you can play your games on either PC, Mac, or even on its micro-console.  Check out the full press release below.
