…it’s all about family…well ok it’s supposed to be about cool cars…but also huge explosions…and over the top action sequences. But yeah, there’s family too…
At this point, how does one review a Fast and Furious movie? I mean, you already know what you’re going to get. There’s pretty much nothing left to say about these films, now entering its seventh in the franchise. If you’re a fan of the series, you have already bought your ticket, and have already decided it’s the best one of the seven. If you’re not a fan of the series, you’re not gonna start by watching this one. If you are the former, then you’re in for one hell of a high-octane ride of craziness. Still delightful and exhilarating using the same old set pieces that you’ve come to expect.
Fast & Furious 6 is the new installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, once again being directed by Justin Lin, who is no stranger to the films as he has directed the last three: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009), and Fast Five (2011). In its sixth installment, the film finds our crew Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) have retired following the successful heist in Fast Five. But Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) offers to clear the groups criminal records in exchange for helping him take down a highly skilled mercenary organization lead by Owen Shaw (Luke Evens), who is being helped by Dom’s presumed-dead lover Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez).
