Last year, Jessica celebrated her 22nd birthday.  Her bestfriend baked her a cake.  At first all us were relectant to eat such a cute cake.  Why would we want to ruin this masterpiece? But after gutting this poor Domo, we knew we had to “FINISH HIM.” NOM!!!!!!!!

The style of using 8-Bit video game characters for a soda display at grocery stores seem to be happening more and more.  In the photo above, you can see the employees saw the Mario soda display and decided to make Donkey Kong. Complete with a barrel that’ll “crush” you, of course. (Yes, I went there. Deal with it.) I hope this trend doesn’t stop because I would love to be greeted by old NES characters every time I walk into my local grocery store.

Here is a mug that made me smile big.  Mainly because I’m such a cookie monster. I love all kinds of cookies.  Add some milk (lactaid please) and thats what I call an awesome snack.  Now, with this new mug invention, I would be able to carry them both with one hand! This really blew my mind. But not only did the people at Mocha think about the cookie monster of the world, they also thought about people like me. The lefties.

The first thing I said when I saw this was, “huh?!”.  I also had to cock my head diagonally like a dog.  What is going on here? Is Darth mad at his food or is he too lazy to use his gloves so he instead uses his force powers to do it?  What is with the couple making out behind him? I’m so confused.

Next time someone says, “can you please pass the salt?”  You can just “wobble” it to them.  Ok, yes, its not very practical when there are dinner plates and drink cups scattered on the table, but hey, it’s still fun to play with while you wait for the food to be cooked.

I don’t like admitting this much, but in spite of my irrational love for Cheetos, I (kind of) like to eat healthy. Here’s a picture, for example, eating a delicious, flavorful curry-type of dish from Afghanistan.

And so naturally, a huge WTF cloud flew over my head when I was invited to taste Gamer Grub, “the first performance snack scientifically formulated to enhance cognitive functions for gamers.”

I’ll be taking a few nibbles later today and posting further details on this what-looks-to-be flavored cardboard. My current thoughts on this snack should be apparent in this post – let’s see if they uphold. Stay tuned!

Over the weekend, many students completed the year of college stress and were inducted into the “real world.”  One of those students was my girlfriend.  One present she got was from her best friend to help match the top of her cap was a batch of Domo-Kun graduation cupcakes.

Wendy’s fast food burger joint just got a new campaign that looks very familiar to an older campaign.  This new campaign is advertising 2 new Coffee Frosty’s, Frosty-cino and Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty.  Who do they get to help sell it to you while you’re watching that old piece of tech called a TV? The Frosty Posse.  A boy band that wears all white and sings about the product that absolutely love.

But wait, that seems like this one familiar campaign that Jack-in-the-Box did a couple years ago:

Hmmm… I think Jack wins this one.  I don’t see the Frosty Posse getting an invite to a fox award show for a special performance:
