Laurie has been saved from the evil force that is Michael Myers, but little does she know he lived, and he’s followed her to the hospital she is recovering at. There he stalkers her and kills anyone in his path. Just another standard Halloween night for our buddy Michael. We also get down and dirty as we discuss the giant news Marvel unleashed this week. It’s a good old fashion episode with more of our shenanigans as we celebrate the best holiday of the year.

Halloween: Our favorite horror books

Horror novels are good any time of the year, but the best time for them is right around Halloween. With the weather getting cooler and the nights getting longer, there’s nothing like curling up in a dark room with a cup of hot chocolate and a great horror story and scaring the hell out of yourself.

It’s also interesting how much of horror has a sci-fi or fantasy element to it. The exceptions are true-crime books or novels about gritty, urban violence, and those are great, but Kathryn and Elizabeth really prefer the ones with some kind of otherworldly element. So they’ve whittled down their list of favorites and each picked three books they think you’d like, if you’re looking to sleep with the lights on tonight.

It’s Not Halloween Without Elvira!

It’s the spooking season, and I would know. But it just wouldn’t be official without the Queen of Halloween herself, ELVIRA!  Thanks to Hulu, the Hostess with the Mostess is back to do what she does best, showing her fawning audience the goods! You know… showing off the best of the B-Movies!

Elvira has been sorely missed from the airwaves since her quest to find a successor in The Search of the Next Elvira in 2008, only making occasional TV and Film appearances.  Although that hasn’t kept her away from the stage as she’s recently returned to her live show at Knott’s Scary Farm, this year performing her Elvira’s Big Top dance and comedy show.  She’s also been co-hosting the Comikaze Expo with comic book legend Stan Lee since 2012, giving nerds the gothic fetish fix that they love so much.

Gather together you groovy ghoulies, the Queen is back!
