[E3 2010] Hudson Entertainment

Hudson Entertainment was here at E3 and was showing off their familiar brand of family friendly games. The first game I checked out was a new Wii title named Oops!. The game targets younger children, with lots of good old fashion broad slapstick humor thrown into the game. The game focuses on mini games that are easy for the kids to grasp. The big theme of Oops is that whenever a character finds themselves on the losing end of a game they are forced to wear a silly outfit. The next game I checked out was Decca Sports 3 which brings several new games, as well as more games you can take online, to the table. One thing that surprised, in a good way, me was the inclusion of lacrosse in the game. This is certainly one of the more untapped sports markets and translates well to the Wii control setup. Last I checked out the new BeyBlade title, which I’m sure will have kids spinning in place with excitement. (Get it, Beyblades Spin…..I apologize for that joke, I’m tired). The game will feature all the spinning you could want, as well as some multiplayer and customization options. If you are looking for games the whole family can enjoy, be sure to check these titles out.

We're Here [PAX East]

This is just a quick update to let all of you out there in pixelated land know that we made it safely to Boston (after 14 hours of driving, rush hour in DC, and then crazy driving on the NJ Turnpike).  We’re currently waiting to being our interview with Hudson Entertainment but have already had interviews with Gunnar Optiks, Twisted Pixel, and Klei Entertainment.  There have been some ridiculous cosplayers and I have never seen more trench coats or smelled more Cheetos breath.  It’s pretty grand.  Pics and videos to follow.
