Are you a hardcore Street Fighter 4 player? Need advice from and hopefully beat one of the top players? Check out JWongGG.com. Justin’s site is full of fighter game knowledge. Warning to SF4 noobs like myself. Justin uses, what seems to be, very advanced terminology. So, if you’re confused as to wtf he is saying, don’t worry. I’m with you.  To see awesome combos that us noobs could only watch and hardly ever perform, check out Justin’s site.

Justin Wong, Prodigy X, and Triforce educate you on how they “Get Into It” in a new commercial by JINX.  I really like this new marketing campaign JINX is doing with their brand.  It shows that no matter if you’re a geek like me, a hot geek like Felicia Day, or a hardcore gamer geek like the three gamer superstars in the video, we all have the awesome apparel of JINX to help us show off our geek cred.

Street Fighter Documentaries King of Chinatown and I Got Next

YouTube Preview Image

There is a trailer out for a documentary on Justin Wong, one of the most well-known US Street Fighter players. From what the trailer shows, the film follows Justin Wong from the release of Street Fighter IV and culminates at this year’s Evo.

This is the second documentary that explores the Street Fighter community. While King of Chinatown looks to be focused on Justin Wong, I Got Next covers the communities of fighting games (especially Street Fighter IV) in general.

I haven’t seen either, but they both have an interesting view on the Street Fighter community. I Got Next seems a bit more intriguing because of the tension the trailer builds between the East and West coast players. However, King of Chinatown will have an in-depth scope on one of the best Street Fighter players in the US. Nonetheless, both will be very interesting to peek out.

I Got Next will be released Winter 2009, but a short cut is available on the official site (below). King of Chinatown will be released September 2009 in select theaters.

SF4 National Champion Justin Wong beats up iSevenx… HARD

A special charity event was being held at the Evil Controllers booth in E3. They invited Justin Wong, 2009 Street Fighter 4 National Champion, to fight against anyone who wanted an ass kicking. For each match Justin won, one can of food was donated to the LA Food Bank. If someone would actually beat Justin, 10 cans would be given. It’s a win win for the LA Food Bank. But not only was Justin winning for charity. He was also breaking his record in the Guinness Book of World Records for most consecutive wins against an opponent that was physically next to him and not playing online.

I got a chance to play against the legendary Justin Wong. How did I do? Lets just say I was happy to donate that one can of food to the LA food bank. In the end, just broke his record on the first day of E3 and racked up around 300 or so wins.

Congratualtions to Justin Wong, Evil Controllers, and the LA Food Bank for wins all around!
