Here are my top 5 reasons that Mass Effect 2 is going to leave you bare footed. (Because it will rock your socks off…..see what I did there)

5) The Cinematography

How many times are you playing a game and you are really enjoying it but find the camera angles a bit lacking? I mean even in BioWare’s last game, the amazing Dragon Age , I would find myself with a camera aimed awkwardly at my chest during half of the cut scenes and almost all of the dialogue shots. But the shots in Mass Effect 2 look like Spielberg is behind the helm. I mean there are shots that are actually creating tension on their own!

Roommates. Sometimes you love them, sometimes you hate them, but they are always interesting. Here is my list of 5 video game characters, in no particular order, who would make awesome roommates.

5) Nathan “RAD” Spencer from Bionic Commando.

Two words: BIONIC ARM. Imagine this scenario; you’re sitting on your couch, enjoying the latest Zac Effron romp and you notice that you seem a bit parched but can’t stand to pull your eyes away from his hip happy rap dance. You bemoan the situation exclaiming “Boy am I sure thirsty”. “No problem Bro!” says your roommate Nathan “Rad” Spencer as his arm swings into the kitchen, opening the fridge door and bringing a Mountain Dew straight to your waiting hand. That, my friends, is the life.

This weekend I have been asked what do I want/need for this XMAS.  So I made a list and sent it out to my amazing family.  So what a good time to as you and all our registered GK’s to post anything you want in the Geek Unfiltered section of the site.  The best list could be showcased into our front page news section.

I don’t know who started the fad of putting tattoos on your lower back, but I don’t mind seeing them on the ladies.  And whats hotter is a geek or nerd girl that gets one.  She doesn’t say shes promiscuous, but seeing a “tramp stamp” might say she is.  Now, there are some hot geek tramp stamps and then there are some geek tramp stamps that just look like a bad idea.  Makes you wonder “wtf were you thinking?!”

Let us geeks say THANK YOU to the video game designers and artists for creating an excuse for geeky girls to dress as skimpy as your video game vixens.  As time progressed in the video game industry, we’ve seen more and more polygons added to female video game characters. But as more polygons were added to each graphic engine, less clothing was put on your females and for some reason, girls were ok with that.

#5 – World of Warcraft is a Feeling
Made by PurePwnage.com, this was probably their big break. A perfect song to get more than 9 million views. The lyrics are just as hilarious as the singers over acting. I’ll admit that I played WoW for 3 years but quit 9 months ago. Still, this video is funny and will touch ANY Warcraft player’s heart.
