What a release list this week. If I were to put my excitement into a phrase it would be “THIS IS IT”, yes the release of Mass Effect 2!!!!  Oh and that other movie starring Michael Jackson what was it called again?? Oh yeah, This Is It. Which is released on just about every medium possible including UMD. You hear that PSP GO Fans, you can enjoy you movie on….. DVD or Blu Ray!!!!  Well the excitement doesn’t just stop there, time to dust off the old Wii with the release of Capcom’s Tatsunoko vs Capcom:Ultimate All Stars !!! Before the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had passed away, we were given so many musical gifts from him. One of which, however, was quite unexpected. During the development of 1993’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the King of Pop himself had been brought aboard to help compose the music for the game. While never having been credited on the project, gamers over the years have been finding similarities between Sonic 3 tracks and MJ’s music, especially considering the similarity between Sonic 3’s ending theme and MJ’s Stranger in Moscow.

Just recently, the truth behind this matter came to light, thanks to a recent interview in French publication Black & White about Michael Jackson. In it, composer Brad Buxer, who had worked with MJ on the project, confirmed that the rumor was indeed true and that the King of Pop had not been credited due to his dislike of how the tracks sounded  because of the Sega Genesis’ sound limitations. So there you have it. Mystery solved.

By now you have heard that Michael Jackson has died. So, to Michael, we say thank you for the video game, expensive music videos, and the timeless music.  You were and always will be, the King of Pop.
