More bad news for gamers. EA has announced that the development of Mirror’s Edge 2 has been halted indefinitely.
The news came from Sweden’s TV program called Press2Play, where a news segment announced that EA has asked the Swedish developers DICE to cease the development on the game.
“EA was shown a prototype, but declined,” said Press2Play, translated from Swedish by Eurogamer. “The project has been stopped — involved parties at DICE are working on something else now.” In addition, “Mirror’s Edge didn’t match up to [EA's] expectations regarding sales, and that has stopped the sequel that has been in development.” Read On
